Sluice Boxes for getting gold

Sluice boxes are set up in the stream for processing more gold bearing material than panning alone can accomplish. Set the box in an area with enough water to push the material thru the box and start feeding material into it. The lighter material will be washed thru the sluice and the heavier material and gold stay trapped in the box until you cleanup and get the gold.
